Middle Cove House

The owners of this home on Sydney’s lower North Shore requested interior designs for the bathrooms and living area with increased clothes storage in their general entry space. We built upon the clients’ preferred design aesthetic of eclectic style and paired down glamour, incorporating natural motifs and colour themes, emphasising their bush oasis and water view location.

A  faux wall was designed in the living area, with a sleek entertainment unit, hiding the cabling. We brought organisation to a rectangular spill-over area in front of French Doors, with added storage. The designed screening creates a formal entrance while accommodating custom wardrobes, new curtains and flooring of the client brief. The filtered view from the entrance to the sitting area creates definition yet allows connection to a more formal sitting area. Colour and timber accents create mood and continuity in the bath & powder rooms. A more saturated colour palette was used in these rooms thanks to the large skylights.
